GNPC was established in 2011 by Grant Nigolian, a former partner and chair of the California litigation department for a nationally recognized Chicago based firm. He focuses on providing the superior legal services of a large firm at competitive rates. GNPC provides outside general counsel and litigation representation for businesses.

Grant Nigolian, Principal
Grant Nigolian is the principal of GNPC and concentrates his practice on complex business litigation. He has over 20 years of legal experience, including as lead counsel in extensive multi-week trials pending with state court, federal court and in arbitration. His extensive experience with litigation includes representing clients in disputes over licensing, state and federal regulations, intellectual property, franchising, real property, employment and labor.
Grant has an AV rating of 5.0 Preeminent, Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating awarded by peers of the bar and judiciary for legal ability and ethics.
Prior to establishing GNPC, Grant was a partner of national firm based in Chicago. He focused his practice on representing domestic operations for Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Italian, Dutch and German manufacturers and distributors. He served as chair of the California litigation department for the firm from 2007 to 2011. Grant currently represents a broad spectrum of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, international trading companies, domestic distributors of international conglomerates, and franchisors.
Beginning in 2015, Grant obtained his certification as a specialist in Franchise & Distribution Law by the Board of Legal Specialization for the State Bar of California and, beginning in 2017, advised the Board on the administration of specialization exam.
Grant has served on the Franchise Law Committee for the Business Section of the California Bar since 2010, including as co-chair for the Committee in 2015, chair of the employment/independent contractor subcommittee and chair of the arbitration subcommittee.
Grant regularly participates as a judge for the UCI moot court competition.

Sarine Sabounjian, Paralegal, HR Manager, GNPC
In 2005, Ms. Sabounjian graduated with high marks and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and a Minor in Management from the Paul Merage School of Business from the University of California, Irvine. Ms. Sabounjian also obtained her ABA approved paralegal certification in 2016 from the University of California, Irvine. Her experience and strengths as a paralegal in case investigations are unmatched.
Ms. Sabounjian also has over 18 years of in depth Human Resources experiences, including, HR strategy and development, implementing policies and procedures, creating job descriptions, record retention, streamlining and automating human resource processes, full cycle recruiting, disciplinary process and terminations, as well as payroll and employee relations. As an example, Ms. Sabounjian provides GNPC's clientele with California labor law based checklists for most Human Resources tasks that are complete with corresponding forms to easily automate the department.
And, with the assistance of Mr. Nigolian, Ms. Sabounjian and GNPC work closely with employers and businesses to build strong human resource protocols that help mitigate against future potential problems.
As the GNPC Office Manager, Ms. Sabounjian’s duties include General Accounting, A/R and A/P. She has been with the firm since its inception in July of 2011. Ms. Sabounjian is also fluent in Armenian.
Sanaz Khoeini, Paralegal, GNPC
Ms. Khoeini obtained her ABA approved paralegal certification in 2016 from the University of California, Irvine, and holds a degree in Chemistry from University of Tehran. Ms. Khoeini joined GNPC in 2017 and is the firm’s principal litigation paralegal. She assists in all aspects of business law, including employment and labor relations.
Ms. Khoeini excels as a litigation paralegal, including in the analysis of evidence, drafting litigation documents and in her familiarity with local court procedures across California. With her skills and success oriented approach, Ms. Khoeini is a valuable member of the GNPC team. Her kind heart and positive attitude drives her passion to work hard for GNPC clients.
During her free time, Ms. Khoeini volunteers at the Legal Aid Office. She is also fluent in Persian (Farsi) and Turkish.
