GNPC was established in 2011 by Grant Nigolian, a former partner and chair of the California litigation department for a nationally recognized Chicago based firm. Career Path

Grant Nigolian is the principal of GNPC and concentrates his practice on complex business litigation. He has over 20 years of legal experience, including as lead counsel in extensive multi-week trials pending with state court, federal court and in arbitration. His extensive experience with litigation includes representing clients in disputes over licensing, state and federal regulations, intellectual property, franchising, real property, employment and labor. Grant has an AV rating of 5.0 Preeminent, Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating awarded by peers of the bar and judiciary for legal ability and ethics. Prior to establishing GNPC, Grant was a partner of national firm based in Chicago. He focused his practice on representing domestic operations for Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Italian, Dutch and German manufacturers and distributors. He served as chair of the California litigation department for the firm from 2007 to 2011. Grant currently represents a broad spectrum of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, international trading companies, domestic distributors of international conglomerates, and franchisors.

Since 2017, Grant has served as a Commissioner for the Franchise and Distribution Law Advisory Commission, which oversees and administers the examination for certification specialization in Franchise & Distribution Law.Grant has served on the Franchise Law Committee for the Business Section of the California Bar since 2010, including as chair for the Committee in 2018-2019, chair of the employment/independent contractor subcommittee and chair of the arbitration subcommittee.Grant also serves as a member of the Pro Bono Panel Attorney, for the United States District Court, Central District of California.The UCI Law School Moot Court Board provides Grant the opportunity to regularly participate as a judge for the annual competition.
